The Music Lives On – Gateway Art to be Installed this fall

Phoenix area residents and local recording artist Shirley Murdock have joined forces to raise funds for public art at the Salem and Catalpa Gateway. This public art will recognize the musical legacy of Roger Troutman (whose recording studio was once at the site) and the transformation of the Phoenix Project neighborhoods. Renowned Dayton artist Michael Bashaw is hard at work constructing the sculpture which is expected to be installed this fall. Fundraising continues to add lights and signage to the site.
